Born on August 27, 1938, in London, Ohio, she was the treasured daughter of Mable (Gallimore) Durham. Madge's warm heart and indomitable spirit touched the lives of many, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A proud graduate of Monroe High School's Class of 1956, Madge embodied the virtues of hard work and dedication throughout her life. She enriched the lives of countless children as a lunch lady at Monroe Elementary School before dedicating over 40 years to her role as a prep cook at the beloved Red Brick Tavern. Her passion for life extended beyond her work; she was a competitive water skier, a sport she fervently enjoyed even during her time as a nanny in Canada.
