Mabel (Miller) Yoder said goodbye to this life on March 7th, 2025. She is safely in the arms of Jesus where she has longed to be for several years.
Mabel was born on September 19th, 1926 and was raised in Deep Creek, Virginia. She married Menno (Brownie) Yoder on March 9th, 1952 in Plain City, where she and Brownie raised five children, Beverly Nordine, Fred (Debbie) Yoder, Vangie Yoder, Nancy Yoder and Janice (Mark) Bailey.
She is also survived by eight grandchildren, Barrett Hassel, Sarah (Jared) Chase, Joshua (Jessica) Yode, Elizabeth (Jason) Reed, LuAnn Nordine, Lydia (Dustin) Willoughby, Brennan Bailey and Ashton Bailey. Mabel is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
Mabel's legacy is one of perseverance and strength. If she set her mind on a task, she didn't stop until she prevailed. She baked cakes, provided childcare, worked at Ranco and became a successful realtor in her 50's until her retirement. She will be remembered for helping those in need and never letting any obs
