Russell R. Knisley, age 90, of London, Ohio, formerly of Plain City passed away on March 19th, 2025. He was born on February 7th, 1935 in Bainbridge, Ohio to Cleveland and Effie Knisley (Harrison). Russell served in the US Army, serving in Germany from 1957 to 1959. He worked for Westinghouse Electric for 26 ½ years before retiring from Armstrong Industries in Hilliard, Ohio. Russell attended the Nazarene Church in London, Ohio. He enjoyed golfing and watching his grandchildren participate in activities.
Besides his parents, Russell is preceded in death by his loving wife, Loretta J. Knisley (Roby); siblings: Porter (Marie) Knisley, Bill (Olive) Knisley, Ralph (Rosie) Knisley, Joe (Garnett) Knisley, Sam (Martha) Knisley, Lucille (Fountie) Shultz, Elsie (Lawrence) Shoemaker, and Irene (Don) Ellars.
Russell is survived by his children, Mark (Lori) Knisley and Doug (Joni) Knisley; grandchildren: Abby (David) Gallant, Adam Knisley, Randi Mowry, and Casey (Steve) Lemieux; great-grandchildr
