HAMMOND
It is with heavy hearts that we share the unexpected passing of Joshua Ray Hammond on March 19, 2025, into his heavenly home at the age of 40. Born July 26, 1984, in Cleveland, Ohio, he was the eldest son of Frank and Cheryl Hammond.
Joshua spent his youth in Tennessee, returning to Ohio in 1994. He graduated in 2002 from London High School and moved to Florida for several years before returning to Ohio. Joshua adopted a faithful feline companion in 2008, Starfire, who remained glued to his side until his passing. A music fanatic, Joshua enjoyed all genres and became an avid record collector. Joshua collected shoes, coats and became quite the bargain hunter at auctions where he would always seem to come home with a new project to work on. Joshua loved nature, camping, and his daughter, Haley remembers childhood trips to the park. He enjoyed playing cards and chess which quickly became some of his favorite family pastimes with son, Crosby. His son, Brody, will remember the hour
