JANET LOU (AURAND) PHILLIPS, 83, of Plain City, OH made that glorious trip 'Home' on March 26th, 2025. Janet had resided at 12899 Taylor Road since 1965 and has lived in the Plain City area since 1961.
JANET was born, March 12th, 1942, to Arthur Edgar Aurand and Vivian Wanna (Sherlock) Aurand on a farm in Gore, Ohio, a community less than 9 miles northeast of Logan, Ohio. She was the fifth of five Aurand children and her parents, all three brothers; Albert Emerson Aurand, Paul Edward Aurand, Webster Elsworth Aurand and her sister; Barbara Ann Aurand Phillips predeceased her.
IN 1956, Janet met Clarence Tennyson (Tenny) Phillips, whom she could hardly wait to tell her Mom about his very unique first name; "Clarence"! On April 19, 1957, Janet, her sister Barbie, Clarence, and his cousin Bob, made their way to Liberty, a small town and county seat of Union County, Indiana. Upon arrival, they searched feverishly for a preacher to marry Janet and Clarence. Unable to find one, Janet settled
